Ultimate Experience

After having a massive trial and error session for weeks, am proud to have found my ultimate settings for fsx. Should work if you have your CPU running at  at least 4.5, a Nvidia Titan or newer at factory settings, 8 GB of RAM. Seriously the GPU only helps with the clouds.

I use Orbx Global, Orbx Vector, Orbix EU LC, Pilot´s ultimate, Traffic 360.

I seriously get 29 fps at all times: in heavy weather, heavy AI traffic at EGLL,  etc.

Read on if you don´t mind to try it out. Save your settings before you do. Make a copy of your fsx.cfg. Do a screenshot of your nvidia inspector settings. Enjoy!

Chapters are:
1. My fsx.cfg
2. Nvidia Inspector settings
3. Orbx Vector
4. Results

PMDG 777, 737, Airbus X A320/321 stable 30 fps guide

fsx.cfg updated 09-20-2013

it runs stable on my machine (I7 3770k at 4.7 GHz, H100Watercooling, Geforce Titan). but please!!! don't just copy and paste the fsx.cfg. My graphics card is different from yours. My screen is different. So use the values please, but don't copy the whole thing and wonder why your fsx doesn't work anymore. thx

what you should have to run fsx smooth with 30 fps:
I7/I5 at 4.5 GHz or above
nvidia gtx 670 or above
fsx on SSD
Remember to save standard flight as an original aircraft from fsx, no addon. it´s important!!! bufferpool=1 is perfect for fast hardware. Don´t believe anything else! FTX Global is installed as well as REX ess.OD and Mytraffic X Professional with 30 % traffic. Save fsx.cfg and make a backup before trying my settings. Remember to turn hyperthreading off in the bios. Set to use only 3 cores there as well.
